Traffic counters come from WireGuard and can reset when its interface restarts. A recent handshake verifies contact, not continuous activity.

Home Canada
Boston carries device traffic through your home router and its Rogers internet connection.
Boston USA
Device traffic exits directly through your Boston VPS. This is an explicit choice, never an automatic fallback.
Protection checks
If the home tunnel is unavailable while Canada is selected, device internet access stays unavailable. It does not silently switch to Boston. IPv6 remains blocked.
